Visible Threat by Janice CantoreThis book is #2 in this series (Critical Pursuit was the first). A good mystery with some fun characters. This is a pretty easy read and the storyline is good. Fighting human trafficking is the theme this time.
Just 18 Summers by Michelle Cox & Rene GutteridgeThis book is a reminder that time goes fast and we only have 18 years to influence and spend quality time with our children before they are off on their own. You will laugh, and you will cry through this book. Each chapter switches between several different parents' viewpoints. I had a hard time putting this one down.
The Prayer box by Lisa WingateReally liked the storyline here. Set in Hatteras Island, I could really imagine myself there. Had a hard time feeling for the main character at first - comes off selfish - but she learns a lot and helps several people in the end.

I just finished reading a series of 4 short books by Ted Dekker. His books are a little different and sometimes scary but I like reading his books because I never can figure out what the ending is going to be! The 4 books in this series are titled Identity, Mirrors, Unseen, and Seer. Another option is to read all 4 books in one novel. The novel is called Eyes Wide Open.
