I LOVE Randy Singer books!!! I have heard that he is very similar to John Grisham. "The Justice Game" is based around a trial against a gun manufacturer. I really like how the author teaches you about the court system and how the lawyers get their information for the trials. This book talks about jury selection.
"By Reason of Insanity" will keep you on your toes guessing who did it!! The characters are so likeable. I think this book is my favorite so far. I really couldn't figure out who the killer was!!!
"Fatal Convictions" is another legal thriller. The main character (who is part lawyer/part pastor) takes a Muslim imam accused of honor killings as a client. Lots of information about muslim faith and "rules."
What would happen if every felon demanded a jury trial instead of taking a plea bargain? In "The Last Plea Bargain" that is exactly what happens. I could feel my pulse racing while reading this thriller!!
"Self-Incrimination" is written totally in the first person perspective of the main character who is also a female lawyer. Another great tale that kept me guessing till the end! This one had more religious thought written in as Leslie deals with her relationship with God and a medical condition.
